Having an issue accepting a batch of transactions through the Square to QBO app (the new one), due to unassigned HST

Trying to use the new Square to QBO app. I'm having an issue accepting a batch of transactions. I've been able to assign all of the transactions to proper items. However, there is a line called "Undeposited Cash/Check" that is blocking me from accepting the transaction. I get an error that says "Error
We couldn't Add the transaction(s) due to "Make sure all your transactions have a GST/HST rate before you save.". Try again later.". I'm not able to clear this error as I have no ability to assign HST to this line. I've been able to successfully add the majority of the transactions, however I cannot get these entered. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Nestor6,

Thanks for reaching out here.  Connecting Square with QuickBooks Online is a great way to save valuable time.  It's important that you're able to complete the process seamlessly.  I'd be happy to help!

Based on the error you've noted, sales tax gets automatically transferred over when it's set up in QuickBooks, otherwise, it gets compiled into one item.  I'd suggest taking a look at your sales tax rates as well to ensure you have HST set up.  It's also important to ensure the sales tax is applied to your transactions in Square for a smooth integration.  Please contact Square support for additional assistance from their end.
