Hello frizzellcolin178,

It's great to have you with us in the QuickBooks Community and as a member of the QuickBooks Online family. I'm glad to see you're being mindful of the details on your invoices, and know it's vital to keep that information up to date. I can definitely help you with changing your HST number on your invoices and other sales forms.

When working with sales tax information, including the sales tax numbers, the Taxes tab is the place to be. There, you can set up new taxes, make old ones inactive, and change the tax numbers associated with your sales tax codes. When you change the details there, the program understands that it should display the new information elsewhere in QuickBooks Online. It's a simple process, and you can follow along with these steps below to change your HST number.

  1. Select Taxes from the left menu.
  2. Choose Manage sales tax.
  3. Select Edit agency settings for the sales tax agency your HST applies to.
  4. Use the HST number field to make the changes.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Done to exit the Manage sales tax.

Now when you go to create, print, or download your forms such as invoices, the new number should be reflected.

Give that a shot and let me know how it works out for you. I'll still be around if you needed any further assistance.
