How do I change the HST number?

I know how important it is to be able to reflect business changes within QuickBooks Online. Luckily, changing your HST registration number is made really simple. In just a few clicks, you'll be back on track. 

To change the HST registration number, follow these steps:

1. Click the Taxes tab on the left navigation menu. 

2. Select Sales Tax. 

3. Click Manage sales tax. 

4. Click the small triangle drop-down menu next to Add rate for the agency you're adding your tax number for. 

5. Select Edit agency settings. 

6. Fill in your new GST/HST registration number. 

7. Click Save.
