How do I change the start date of my filing period for Sales Tax?

It's nice to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online provides the flexibility you need, to ensure your Sales Tax is aligned with your business.  I would be happy to help you make the necessary changes to your filing date!

Follow these steps to correct the starting date for your sales tax filings;

1. From the left menu, open Taxes, then Sales tax

2. Click on Prepare return

3. Enter the Filing period, Start date, End date and Filing date

4. Review the information to confirm accuracy

5. When ready, hit Mark as filed.
