Hello dparti,

Thanks for joining us! QuickBooks Self-Employed allows you to easily track your income and expenses, including sales tax on those items. I know how having a sense of the sales tax entered so far gives you insight into your business, and I want to make sure you have the options available to you through the program.

QuickBooks Self-Employed has a couple of reports geared specifically toward sales tax based on what you've entered into the program: the Tax summary and the Tax details reports. Both of these reports can be accessed through the Reports section of the program, and you can also see the summary option in the Taxes tab. Depending on how much detail you're looking for, either of these should give you the information you need for your sales tax totals. When you choose this year for the reporting period, the report will show all calculations up to this point.

Give both a shot to see which works better for you. You can also learn more about sales tax in QuickBooks Self-Employed here: Sales Tax overview

Have a fantastic week!
