How to change HST return start date?

Thanks for reaching out here.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online is a great way to accomplish your daily bookkeeping goals from anywhere at any time.  It's important to have the starting date set for your sales tax module to keep your records aligned.  I'll be happy to help!

Here's how to enter a starting date for your HST:

1. Open Taxes from the left menu and then Sales tax

2. Open the Filings tab and hit Prepare return

3. Enter the Filing period, Start date, End date and Filing date

4. Review the information and hit Mark as filed
