When working with third-party connections, the first place to start when errors such as this one come up is by contacting the support team for the connection. For instance, if you're using a third-party app to connect Joist and QuickBooks Online, you'll want to contact the app support team to troubleshoot and learn why this error might be coming up. If the integration is through Joist directly, you can connect with Joist support.

 

The reason to start there is because the app or integration developers are the ones who created the link and will therefore know how to troubleshoot it. To see how to get in touch with an app support team when you've connected one via QuickBooks Online's Apps tab, follow these steps.

  1. Go to Apps in the left menu.
  2. Choose My Apps.
  3. Click the app in question.
