Question

I am trying to search 1 type of service to reach a sales total without adding it manually. Is there a way to do that?

Hi info-vitalitycam,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. It's a great place to get answers to all your questions. You'll find QuickBooks Online has various reports available, and I can guide you through customizing to isolate the information you're looking for.

When you're looking for specific information, you have the ability to Customize reports in QuickBooks Online. To find the sales by a particular service, start by pulling up the Sales by Product/Service Summary Report.

Follow these simple steps to create the report you want:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Scroll down to the Sales and Customer section of reports, and choose the Sales by Product/Service Summary.
  3. Click the Customize button.
  4. Enter the date period, and open the Filter section by clicking the arrow beside it.
  5. Check the box by the Product/Service, and choose the service you want the results for.
  6. Click the Run Report button.
  7. If you plan on using this report repeatedly, you can choose to Save Customization.

I'm confident you'll have no trouble. If you're looking for more detail, you can always review the article through the link I inserted above.

Reach back out here in the QuickBooks Community if you have any other questions. I'm here to help. Have a great weekend!
