Question

I can't undo a PST filing. It says there is a payment already applied it must be deleted before I can undo the filing. There is no payment applied, how can this be fixed?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online sales tax module has the versatility you need when this type of situation arises.  I'll be happy to guide you through the steps so you can get back to what you love!

 

Based on the information you've provided, I recommend following these steps to review the payment history:

 

1. Open Taxes and then Sales tax from the left menu

2. Select the Payments tab

3. Review the payment history

4. If you notice a payment has been recorded, use the ▼ dropdown in the Action column and select Delete 

That should do it!  You're ready to un-file the sales tax return.
