Hello nicholas3,

It's great to have you back with us in the QuickBooks community! I'm glad to hear that you've caught this error and are looking to correct it. This'll help ensure that your books are properly balanced and that there aren't any errors in future sales tax filings to the government. I can point you in the right direction.

Once a sales tax filing has been completed in QuickBooks Online, there isn't a way to undo or correct it from a regular QuickBooks Online account. If you have an accountant user on file, they'll be able to use their undo sales tax return accountant tool to go to your sales tax filings and undo it. If you don't have an accountant, don't worry! QuickBooks Online tech support agents can also help by using their undo sales tax filing tool.

All you need to do is get in touch. Here are the options for reaching QuickBooks Online support.
