We sometimes have customers pay through QuickBooks invoicing and are charged a service fee of 2.9% $0.25 per transaction. Is HST applied to this service fee?

Hi and thanks for the response.

I looked through the link you included but it does not expressly indicate that the 2.9% +$0.25/transaction includes Goods & Services Tax, Harmonized Sales Tax or any Provincial Sales Tax?

If this is the case, where would we find Intuit's GST vendor number? When an entity charges GST/HST, they are supposed to provide their CRA number.

Thanks!
