Hi there,

The ‘WorkPapers’ or Trial Balance feature is designed for Accounting professionals to simplify year-end accounting processes. Its goal is to save time and resources required to gather formal reports and financial statements at year-end.

This feature is available in QuickBooks Online Accountant edition and is accessible via the Accountant dashboard. All information and notes entered into the ‘Working Papers’ is automatically saved, and is only made visible to Accountants and Bookkeepers (clients will not have visibility). Once all year-end adjustments are made through WorkPapers, accountants can quickly and easily complete corporate tax returns using GIFI codes.

Here's more information about the WorkPapers feature: Introducing WorkPapers

If your adjusting entries aren't appearing in the WorkPapers section after you've saved them, try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser to remove any stored Internet files. These files can build up over time and cause bugs in QBO and other sites. Here's how to do it: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, try using an Incognito window in Google Chrome. This is a private window that runs independently from the rest of your browser. Here's more information about that and how to use it: Browse in private. You can also try using an alternative browser all together.

I hope this helps you get back on the right track. If you're still not seeing your entries in WorkPapers, please reach out to our tech support team so an agent can have a closer look at what may be happening.

Cheers.
