My sales tax amounts are not showing when entering a bill

Why would the sales tax codes be deleted when I am entering a bill

Welcome to Community!  Having your sales tax accurately calculated on your sales forms is vital in meeting with government guidelines.  QuickBooks Online simplifies setting up sales tax and managing default sales tax rates on your products and services.  I'd be happy to assist!

 

I recommend reviewing your sales tax rates and ensure they're active.  Here's how;

 

1. From the left menu, select Taxes and then Sales tax

2. Click on Manage sales tax

3. Scroll down the list and select Make active, as you see necessary

4. Hit Done to save the changes

Your sales tax should now be visible when creating forms.
