Sale Tax Calculation

Hello,

 

I've enabled "Apply Sales Tax" (15% for P.E.I. Canada) to two $1000 items. So, the total tax should be $300 but QB Self Employed keeps showing me $260.87. That's incorrect, no? What am I missing here?

Welcome to Community!  It's essential that your sales tax is accurate and applied correctly to your invoice and expense transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.  I'd be happy to point you in the right direction so you can complete your QuickBooks goals with peace of mind.
