Question

There is a mandatory field when reconciling transactions that gives the option of HST or Out of Scope. What is this for?

These are for purchases that I've made for supplies, etc. and it's asked me to choose the tax category as HST or Out of Scope.

To ensure the accuracy of your books, I recommend reaching out to an accountant for expert advice. They will be able to better guide you to determine what sales tax was applied.
