Question

Transaction time shown in QBO is in EST but when the same is fetched in excel it shows time in PST. Why there is a difference?

Example: I posted a JE in QBO at 8:00 AM EST and the same is showing in transaction history but when the journal is exported along with JE time details, time changes to PST and show as 5:00 AM PST as posting time.

Hi there,

Thanks for connecting with us in the Community. I'll be happy to steer you along the right path so you can continue to manage your work with peace of mind.

To get started, is your computer using the PST time-zone? This could be the reason why the Excel file is switching to the time-zone that matches the device you're exporting to. Feel free to get back to me in the comments below, I'll be one message away.
