When I went to run my GST report there was no revenue showing. How can I fix this problem?

Thanks for reaching out in the QuickBooks Community with the issue you're experiencing. I can see how not seeing your revenue amounts in your GST report would be concerning. I'm going to help you get to the bottom of the issue.

Whenever the program is not performing as expected, I like to do some browser troubleshooting. It may be as easy as clearing your cache and cookies. Every time you open a webpage on your computer, cookies are downloaded into your cache. Eventually, it gets overloaded and disrupts communication in internet-based programs like QuickBooks Online.

Here are the steps for troubleshooting your browser:

• Clear your browser cache if you're using a browser
• Try a browser if you're using the app
• Try a private browser window
• Try another browser type
• Make sure you're using a supported browser and system
• Reset your Internet or try on another computer or device

As you're going through these steps, you may need to log out or back into your QuickBooks Online account. Check your GST report between steps to see if the issue has been resolved.

If you've completed all the browser troubleshooting and still don't see any revenue in your GST report, I suggest checking your Profit and Loss report.

To get the report, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to Reports from the left navigation menu.
2. Select the Profit and Loss report. You'll find it under the Business Overview section. The income section of the report will have the totals of all the revenue recorded in your QuickBooks Online account. 

Compare this to what you see for revenue in your GST report. If you don't see the amounts you're expecting, you'll need to check the transactions entered for sales for Income accounts and Sales Tax codes used. You can look at the Profit and Loss Detail report to see a breakdown of all the transactions that were entered as income. You'll find this report in the same way as the Profit and Loss report described above. Just click on the transactions and they'll open.
