Why do my WSIB totals not agree with my calculations

Hello accounting-mtoma,

 

Welcome to the Community! QuickBooks Online's Payroll add-on gives you the convenience of managing all of your accounting in one place. Tracking your WSIB totals is an important part of payroll, and I want to ensure that your amounts are calculating correctly. 

 

If you believe that the totals populating within QuickBooks Online aren't quite accurate, it'd be best to reach out to our support team outside of the Community. That way, they can securely collect your account details and work with you one-on-one to determine the cause of the discrepancies. They can then adjust the amounts in the backend of the program for you if needed. I'll include the options for contacting them towards the bottom of this post. 

 

While the QuickBooks Online team can assist you with the technical side of things, it's also a good idea to touch base with an accountant when it comes to payroll balances. You can invite your accountant to view your QuickBooks Online company by going to the My Accountant menu. If you're not currently working with an accountant, that's ok, as you can use the Find a pro to help button to search for a QuickBooks certified Pro Advisor near you.
