The calculation QBO is advising to pay for WSIB does not match the calculation put into the epremium wsib website....

There is about a 300$ difference?

Also can anyone confirm where I find my gross insurable earnings for the last quarter? I am pretty sure I have it but I would like to confirm as this may be my issue?

Hi AQCReno,

Thanks for reaching out to Community.  Ensuring your WSIB calculations are accurate in QuickBooks Online is essential when preparing to make payment.  I'd be happy to assist!

If you've setup WSIB previously by adding it as a Company Contribution, this may be a factor, as it was calculating based on a dollar amount as opposed to a percentage.  This meant that you would've had to edit the amount when previewing payroll.  If it's been setup  more recently, as outlined in this updated article, I'd recommend reviewing the rate indicated on the Pay Stubs to ensure it's calculating correctly.  If you haven't setup WSIB following the new method, I'd suggest waiting until the year end.

To confirm your gross insurable earnings for the last quarter, go to Taxes > Payroll Tax > click on the Payments tab.  Select the Tax Liability Report and then choose your Date Range > Run Report.

Should you continue to see a difference with the calculations, I'd advise you to contact us using one of the following methods.  We'd need to have a more in depth look at this from our end to determine the probable cause and resolve this for you in a timely fashion.
