Question

All my contacts/customers and estimates/invoices have disappeared, can you tell me why?

Have used the app for 3yrs and built a portfolio of clients that I can no longer see or access, why? where have they gone? It is like I have logged in for the first time.

Hi there, Paintangels. I can see that your data has suddenly disappeared from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Let me help you in troubleshooting your QBO account and see what happened.

 

You can consider checking your Audit log in your QBO account. This feature lets you keep track of all your activities in your account.

 

If there are no changes in your account, I recommend logging into your QBO account via a web browser to check if your data appears. If your data is visible, you might consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the app to ensure it loads correctly.

 

However, if your data does not appear in the browser, I suggest performing some browser troubleshooting steps. Cache-related issues can sometimes cause QBO to load improperly, leading to data visibility problems

 

Here are the key shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If this resolves the issue, return to your regular browser and clear your browsing history  to start fresh. If not, you can use a different supported browser.

 

Additionally, you can save time by uploading your receipts and bills from your suppliers to QBO.
