I have set automatic reminders for 14 days before due date, on due date and 7 days after due date but customers do not receive any of these invoice reminders.

Hello, carriestringer-s.

I understand how important it is for your company to automate the procedure of sending reminders when invoices are soon to become past due. Let's take just several steps to fix the Automatic Invoice Reminder feature so it can function as intended once again.

You may have experienced some cache issues caused by outdated data stored in your browser. Here's how to fix it, you can log in to your account using a new incognito window. It helps resolve some cache troubles since it doesn't save any site data. Here are the shortcut keys to use:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P

If it works again, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to start fresh. Alternatively, you can use different supported browsers.

If the issue continues, you can create a recurring template for your reminder from scratch. Since your current template may have some problems. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Select Recurring transactions.
  3. Click New.
  4. Select the type of transaction to create, and then hit OK.
  5. Enter a Template name.
  6. Choose Reminder.

Check out this article for more details: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, you may consider sending it manually by following the steps in this resource and then contact our QuickBooks Online Support to submit a ticket for investigation: Send invoice reminders automatically or manually in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be around if there's anything else you need. Have a great day!
