Bank Connecting Error

Hello, I’m new to qb and trying to connect my Navy Federal Credit Union business account. I was able to connect and it shows my balance, however none of my transactions show up. It says I have to verify (which I have done several times) and I receive the check mark showing it’s connected, but the transactions still don’t show and then it asks me to verify the account again. I’ve attempted this over 20 times today. I’ve waited hours in between attempts and still have no luck. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, @Dkallen08.

Before we get started, may I ask if you've encountered any error messages? This is to provide you with the appropriate solution based on the error you received. Any additional information will be much appreciated.

In the meantime, let's manually enter your transactions in QuickBooks Online. To do this:

Step 1

  1. Go to Accounting, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the bank or credit card account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Select View register.
  4. The oldest transaction's date should be located and noted. The opening balance is typically the oldest transaction.

For complete and detailed step by step process, visit this article: Manually enter transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I'll also add an article that you can check in solving bank connection errors in QuickBooks Online: Open Banking connection errors in QuickBooks Online.

Once transactions are in QuickBooks, let's match and categorize them. Browse through this article to help you with the process: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted if you need further assistance in connecting your bank account to QBO. It's always my pleasure to be of assistance. Take care and have a great day!
