Bank transactions

Hi,

 

every deposit that enters my bank account has the same reference, the name of the first customer I had. I have set up individual customers for each transactions but they continue to show under the same name. How do I fix this please? I have taken all rules off I think!

There are times that local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason your rules are being categorized under the same name. 

 

Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps that so we can fix the issue right away. 


First, use a private browser to access your account in QuickBooks. It is also known as InPrivate in Internet Explorer and Incognito mode in Google Chrome. This browser mode doesn't record the browsing activity on your local device. You can access this by pressing the following keys:

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).
     

Once done, check again if your set rules go back to normal. If it works, open your regular browser and clear its cache. 

 

If the same things happen, use another supported browser.
