Because my purchase/mileage update is always hours late if not the next day before it's updated. Do I need to photo my receipts. I just stuff them safe but no time to go back through them all.

Thanks for asking us here in the Community. As an insight, it isn't necessary to attach receipts to every purchase/mileage. You have the option to keep a record of them in QuickBooks by uploading them to your transactions. Otherwise, you don't need to attach them.
