Can anyone fix my this?, my custom fields are on my invoice template I am filling them in and saving the invoice but when I retrieve the invoice the fields are not saved

Since you've already saved the invoice, one possible reason you're unable to retrieve the information on the custom fields is that your browser has accumulated too many cached files. QuickBooks uses the browser's cache to run faster. Thus, you'll have to clear or remove outdated ones to prevent potential viewing and performance issues with QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Start troubleshooting by pulling up your account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

• Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
• Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
• Control + Option + P (Safari)

Once signed in, go to the Sales menu's Invoices tab to view or edit your invoice.

If you're able to see and recover all the data you need on your invoice, return to your default browser and clear its cache. After that, restart your browser and log back into your QBO account to refresh the system.

However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend clicking the browser's Refresh icon (please see the screenshot below) or using other supported browsers.

On the other hand, to include the custom fields when printing invoices, ensure to turn on the Print on form option. Go to the Custom fields menu and edit the custom field.
