Yes, you can, bmthharris.

I'm here to walk you through the steps of changing the due date of your invoices in QuickBooks Online.

  1. Go to Get paid & pay or Sales, then Customers.
  2. Select Invoices.
  3. Locate the invoice you'd like to modify the due date.
  4. Choose Edit invoice.
  5. Change the due date.
  6. Click Save and close.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6 for the other invoices.

Once the customer makes a payment on the invoice, you can track the fund easily in the program.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you gently remind customers about invoice due dates: Send Invoice Reminders Automatically or Manually.

Please keep us posted if you need additional assistance tracking or managing your sales transactions. It's my priority to ensure your record is accurate.

Is there a way to change the due date on invoices permanently? Ie. for all invoices to ensure that immediate payment terms apply universally? Thanks!

Hello cvvg2, thanks for posting on this thread, there is no way of being able to change the due date so it shows a permanent date that will apply universally to all payment terms in Quickbooks, there is no feature for this. It would be a case of having to change the due date manually on each invoice. You can leave this as feedback within the main cog wheel> feedback.
