Can I customise the payment receipt ? The date wasn't properly formatted, it didn't show the details of invoice that had been paid and I'd like to add a comment.

I'm here to share some information about payment receipts, lynn-pantheonply.

 

Currently, there isn't a way to customize a payment receipt in QuickBooks Online. I understand that you need to show the complete details of the paid invoice, so I'll take note of this to help improve your experience. Your ideas and suggestions will help us identify what functionalities and features our customers need for their business.

 

For now, you'll want to consider adding the invoice information and comment in the Memo field. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Choose Receive Payment.
  3. Select the name of the customer, and the appropriate payment method.
  4. From the Deposit to drop-down menu, select the account you put the payment into.
  5. In the Outstanding Transactions section, tick the checkbox for the invoice your recording payment for.
  6. Enter the reference number, then add the details of the invoice in the Memo field.
  7. When you're done, hit Save and close.
