Can I import invoices from another app or will I have to do it manually?

You can check with your app's support team if there's an option to link your account to QBO, and if you can export the invoices. You can also check for a bridging app if there isn't a way to directly link the two.

There's actually an option to import invoice data, but they need to be saved in an excel file. Please check out the details in this article: Import multiple invoices at once.
