Can I send a receipt to a customer for paying part of the invoice and send updated invoice with the outstanding balance

Hello Patriarachts, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

There is no way to send a receipt from the account,  what you would need to do is create an invoice for the part payment and you could put in the description part (part payment) then send another invoice to them with the outstanding balance on it/ updated invoice and again can put in the description (final/outstanding balance)  so that the customer and your self know what each invoice is for.
