Can I split an item of expenditure and have a different memo field for each line?

My organisation might pay a cleaning company for working for a number of our clients and I want to see the expenditure broken down by client. In my desktop QB, I could split the payment into a number of lines and have a memo field in each line, indicating which client the work was done for.

Yes you can split transaction and enter a different memo on each line, to do this using an expense simply select + New > Expense > Fill in the payment details and scroll to 'Category field' or 'Item field' and begin filling in the lines - as you add lines here you'll see more automatically appear beneath, so you can add as many lines as needed.
