Hello dentmck,

Welcome to the Community. I can help share information about recording transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If you're referring to the transactions that are automatically recreating, I recommend checking your Recurring List. You can delete them from there and manually record through the Plus sign found in the upper-right corner.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Below Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
  3. Search for the transaction you want to delete.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow below the Action column.
  5. Select Delete.

For additional guidance, please refer to this attachment:

If what you meant are the fields auto-filling on your forms, I recommend configuring your settings through these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Below Your Company, select Account and Settings.
  3. Go to Advanced.
  4. Below Automation, turn off Pre-fill forms with previously entered content.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Done.

To learn more about this feature, I'm also attaching the article I recommend on this:

How to use auto-recall to pre-fill transactions.
