Can I write a full job report out in my invoice of what was carried out?

Let me help with your question about getting a report in QuickBooks Self-Employed, benmoore2-hotmai.

 

For now, there's no option to make a full job report about out of the invoices that you have in QuickBooks Self-Employed. At the moment, these are the reports that you can run in QBSE: 

 

  • Mileage log
  • Profit and loss
  • Receipts
  • Tag Totals
  • Tax summary
  • Tax details

 

You'll want to use a different app to track the jobs that you completed for a job. You can also upgrade to QBO which offers job or project tracking. Check out this article as a guide: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online
