Can one amend to delete the billable tag on past expenses, without deleting the whole expense.

Yes, you can, @richard50.

 

You'll want to open the past expense and uncheck the billable box to amend the expense. Let me show you how.

 

In your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account:

  1. Go to the Expenses menu
  2. Locate and select the expense.
  3. Uncheck the box under the BILLABLE column to amend the billable.
  4. Once done, click Save and close.
