Can you change a sales recept to an invoice

If you have already created a sales receipt in QuickBooks Online, changing this transaction directly to an invoice isn't an option. Instead of doing it, you can delete the sales receipt and manually recreate it into an invoice. 

Before removing the sales receipt, make sure to take note of all the information so you can transfer the details correctly by manually recording them. Here's how to delete a sales receipt:

1. Select the +New button. 
2. Select Sales Receipt under the Customers heading.
3. Open up the sales receipt you've recently created.
4. Look on the bottom for the More button.
5. Select Delete. Then, Yes.
