Default accounts for suppliers

How do I set up balance sheet accounts as default account in suppliers?

Not all suppliers are profit and loss based, so I would like to know how to set up bank loan as the default account under the bank name in the suppliers ledger.

Hi BestMum, thanks for posting on the Community 

 

It is only possible to select a default expense category in the Suppliers settings. If you would like to use a different account type, you would need to select this at the point of entering the transaction (e.g. in the Category field on the bill or expense).
