deleting old transactions

Hi I'm using Quickbooks Self-Employed
As I only need to keep financial data for 5 years, how do I remove transactions from older tax years etc from Quickbooks?

 Hello EdwardMagee, thanks for posting on the Quickbooks Community page, as far as I am aware you can batch exclude them but not actually delete them.
