Does anyone know if it is possible to search for an attachment within a document? I know the file name of the attachment but need to know which invoice it was attached to

Thanks BruceL, unfortunately there would not be another workaround to this, you may with to try and batch export the attachment list to Excel and use the search function as above by selecting the tick-box to the left > batch actions > export, however this may only export the first 300 selected. We'd be grateful if you could share your feedback for this by selecting the Cog > Feedback within your account, this way it will be submitted directly to our developers for their consideration. 🙂

Hi BruceL, you can locate this by navigating to the Cog > Attachments > Press Ctrl+F on your keyboard and enter the file name in the search bar that appears - this will highlight the attachment name and will contain a link to the invoice.

Thanks Georgia, but this only partially works as it will only find attachments on the open page. I know that you can set the page size to 300 lines, but I have several thousand attachments so can still take a while. It would be much simpler to be able to do it through the Advanced Search function.
