Don't have Invoices just daily till rolls This has different codes/amounts on as some products are VAT exempt? where and how is this information entered on Quick Books?

If you don't do invoices, I can think that you're using sales receipts. It has a VAT field (see screenshot) where you can choose the right code for your sales transactions.
