Donor Change

How do you change the product type in donors to show a list of things you need?  I want to show the invoice is for rent but I cannot work out how to add to the 4 options that quickbooks gives you? 

 

Is there also anyway in the UK of changing Donor to Customer?  I work for a charity and regularly receive donations so this is really confusing.

Changing donor to a customer isn't possible if you select that your business type is charity on setting up QuickBooks Online it will default to donors instead of customers. At this time, adding rent as a product type is not possible. You'll want to enter rent under service so it won't classify under inventory.

    The four options you mention (on the invoice) will be your Products/Services.  When you click on the Product/Services box on the invoice, it should give +Add New at the top?

    If not, from the Dashboard, click the Cog Symbol (top right) then Lists = Products & Services.

     

    As mentioned by @MariaSoledadG enter Rent as a Service.

    This is probably automatic - if your Company Type was set to Charity when the QBO account was opened.  If you Company Type now, you'll get Customers but not Donors.
