Duplicate payment

I'm using Quick Books in multi user mode. 

 

Why would Quickbooks not warn me of a duplicate invoice?

 

It will warn me sometimes but it won't do it all the time. 

 

Duplicates is checked off in the settings.

Let's review your preferences and ensure that you tick the Bring back all one-time messages box so you're notified if there's a duplicate invoice. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Click Edit, then Preferences. 
  2. Choose General, and then My Preferences. 
  3. Tick box the Bring back all one-time messages. 
  4. Hit OK. 

   

 

 

  

However, if the preference is already enabled, we can run verify rebuild. This scans your company file for potential data issues and fixes them right away.
