Question

"Find Match" no longer working

Yet another issue on QB online.

In transactions, when I click on a transaction and click “find match”, it just refreshes the page and starts the process again. Tried this with a few transactions.

Is this another bug to be fixed?

Thanks

I understand the inconvenience of being unable to use the Find Match feature, @Pennine_Jim. There are some troubleshooting steps we can perform to verify if this is a webpage issue.

The cache piled up on your browser affects the program's performance. To isolate this, use a private browser to access your QuickBooks account. It doesn't retain local files to help rule out the possibility of a webpage issue.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N

From there, try to match the transactions again. If this works, clear the browser's cache to start with a clean slate. You can also use other supported browsers as alternatives.
