Hello all. After months of using quickbooks I have had a sudden glitch: I'm getting the message "No transactions to process" - they are not being carried into quickbooks

I'm using Microsoft edge, but have had issues with both QBO and the Desktop App.

As the desktop app pulls its online connection through the default browser,can we ask you to try clearing the cache and cookies in Microsoft edge and then logging into QuickBooks and then hit on update in the banking section.

I want to make sure you can get your bank data into QuickBooks.

 

Before anything else, may I know what financial institution are you using? This will help me check for reported cases related to your bank.

 

In the meantime, let's try troubleshooting this unexpected behavior by updating your bank manually. Here's how you can do that:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Click the Banking tab.
  3. Select the account you'd like to update.
  4. Click the Update button at the upper right corner.

Thanks for the quick and helpful response.  My bank is Barclays Business (in the UK).  I have gone into my bank account - no messages about security updates etc.  I have also 'updated' my Bank account online and in the desktop App.  None of this worked.  I then manually downloaded and uploaded the transactions which worked... It would be nice to get a permanent fix.  Looking online, users reported a previous problem with not being able to download transactions from Barclays.

We are not currently aware of an issue with downloading transactions from Barclays - we would like to quickly run through some troubleshooting steps to rule this out. Could you please confirm which browser you are using?
