Hello.Can you check to see if my invoices are being sent out by email properly as one of my customers are not receiving them once I have sent them?Many thanksAndrew

Hi there, @kellycoombs-me-c.

 

Since QuickBooks Community is a public forum, we don't have the tools that would help us check if an invoice was properly sent to a customer. 

 

Although, you can check the status of the invoice inside QuickBooks and see if it was properly sent. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu. 
  2. Click Invoices.
  3. Under the STATUS column, check if you see the word Sent

 

If this is the status of the invoice, that means it was successfully delivered to your customer's email address. 

 

In case the status shows as undelivered or undeliverable, you may have the same issue with other QuickBooks Online users. Right now, there's an ongoing investigation where some sent or emailed invoices were blocked by the customer's provider or external server.

If this was the case, I'd recommend reaching out to our customer support. That way, they can add you to the list of affected users and send you updates once the issue is fixed. Simply follow these steps to connect with them and provide this investigation number (INV-69394):

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner and click Talk to a human.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Select Get help from a human.
  5. Choose between Chat with usSchedule an appointment, or Have us call you.
