Hi. All of my history has disappeared from my QB online account! All transactions, customers, invoices etc!

All of my customer list, invoices, and transactions have disappeared! Can anyone shed any light! Bit worrying!

Please know that this isn't the kind of service we want you to experience with us. Rest assured, I’m here to shed some light on your concern about your transactions. 

 

To begin with, let’s try logging in to your QBO account using a private window. Thus, there are times when too much historical data from the browser causes discrepancies that affect the view and performance of your QuickBooks. As a result, it is possible that your transactions have vanished.

 

To help us determine if this is a browser-related issue, feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito window depending on your browser: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P 

 

If it works, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

 

Otherwise, please ensure that you’re logged in to the correct company file. Thus, if the file you're in has no data in it, we can switch to another company and find the data you need.

  1. Go to the Gear icon. 
  2. Click on the Switch account/Switch company option.
  3. Choose the company where your data is stored.
