Question

Hi community, I’m having problems with gaps in the transactions in my bank account , I’m considering deleting my account and starting again , hoping this will give a chronological input of data for the tax year 2019/20 . Is this a wise move or not?

Thanks for visiting the Intuit Community, dillwynsmith-icl.

I'd be happy to share information on deleting an account and start from scratch. In QuickBooks Self-Employed account, we're unable to purge your QBSE account. You'll need to cancel your account and open a new QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

Then, connect your bank account. Though, QuickBooks Self-Employed downloads the transactions from 30 to 90 days. In some cases up, to a year. QuickBooks download the new transactions automatically.
