Hi does anyone know if there is a way of importing invoices from other software to quickbooks? One of my clients has software I have to use to invoice on but I’m wanting to import the invoice so quickbooks recognises the payments?

For now, importing invoices from other software is unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). You have to manually enter the transaction inside the program to record your sales. 

Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QBSE account, then click the Invoices menu.
2. Select Create invoice. 
3. Choose the name of the customer. 
4. Enter the rest of the details and click Print beside Email.
