Question

Hi, I am trying out Quickbooks having previously used Xero where I had repeat invoices that automatically sent by email each month. Does QB have this capability?

It’s great to see you in the Online Community, @joanne28.

Yes, QuickBooks Online has the capability to automatically send emails to your customers. You'll just have to create a recurring invoice, let me show you how to do it:

  1. Go to the + New icon in the left pane.
  2. Under Customers, choose Invoice.
  3. Fill out the necessary information you want to appear in your invoice.
  4. Under Payment Options, choose the types of payments that you accept.
  5. Click Enable recurring payments at the bottom.
  6. Customise your Recurring Invoice
  7. Enter a template name.
  8. From the Type drop-down, choose Scheduled.
  9. On the Options section, mark Automatically send emails.
  10. Set the interval.
  11. Hit Save template.

Once you are ready to proceed, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular price.
