Hi I am trying to input our business invoices from suppliers for the MTD vat report should I create them on invoice or on expense?

Hello Ryan45 thanks for contacting Community,

 

When recording invoices from your suppliers you will use either Bills or Expenses, Invoices in QuickBooks Online are used to record income. The Bill can be used for anything being paid upon a future date and an Expense for anything at point of purchase.
