Question

Hi, my bank is linked as it always has been but for the last month, when I go to review transactions, they don't load. It just says please wait. Can someone help?

I'm here to help you ensure you can get your recent bank transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Madden.

Beforehand, may I ask which financial institution isn't updating the entries and what specific error code or message you see? ? This way, we can check with our engineers if there are any reported issues similar to your banks.

In the meantime, I suggest signing into your bank’s website to check if there's an issue on their end. Once you're signed in, you'll want to review the following:

  1. Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  3. Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

If everything looks good, go back to QuickBooks and manually download your transactions again:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and select the Banking tab.
  2. Click the Update button.

For more details about this process, please visit this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

For QBO mobile app, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It will allow you to use the app on a clean slate and connect with our live support team.

Fill me in if you have additional questions about bank feeds or downloading bank data. I'm always here to help. Take care always.
