Question

Hi my quickbooks keeps doubling the amount of an invoice balance just before I send it to the customer, doesn't do this before you send it shows the correct amount.

Also does this when I preview them to print too.

In most cases, browser-related problems are the reason why users encounter unexpected behaviors in QuickBooks. Please know that the online platform uses the browser’s cache to run faster. However, this can sometimes become corrupted, which can affect some functionalities. We can perform some steps to fix your situation.


First, access your QuickBooks Online account in an incognito or private window for testing. Here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use:

 

  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome browser)
  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox browser & Microsoft Edge)
  • Press keys: Command + Shift + N (Safari browser)


Once logged in, check your invoice balance. If the amounts are correct, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Doing this helps the program to run better. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.
